The Galilee is the place Where it All Began. As referred to the words of Isaiah that the light will shine from the Galilee. 
“The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, toward the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles, the people who sat in darkness saw a great light; to those who sat in the region and shadow of death, to them light has dawned.” {Matthew 4:15-16} 
The sea mentioned is the sea of Galilee, and the place where the profit predict Jesus will start his spiritual mission on this land. At the sea of Galilee found Jesus his first disciples, and manifested his first miracles like walking on the water: 
When therefore they had rowed about twenty-five or thirty stadia, they saw Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing near to the boat; and they were afraid. {John 6:19}
